Free flu vaccination is available for eligible patients under the National Immunisation Program. For those not eligible, the vaccine is available for a private fee of $18. If your appointment is for the flu vaccine only, the consultation will be bulk billed.
Who is eligible for a free flu vaccine?
- Children aged 6 months to under 5 years
- Adults aged 65 years and over (enhanced vaccine provided)
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over
- Pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy
- People aged 6 months and over with certain chronic conditions, including:
- Severe asthma
- Diabetes
- Chronic heart or lung conditions
- Weakened immune systems
